Our "Fake" Christmas Eve/Morning in Texas

This Christmas we were going to Utah to spend it with Jason's family. Well, one of the great things about living close to my family is we get to celebrate it with them too:) I decided to plan a "fake" christmas eve evening where we did all our family traditions and even made my parents and brother and sister spend the night for and early Christmas Morning with the boys!
We had homemade Baked Potato soup and my mom's yummy chocolate dipping sauce with strawberries and bananas for dessert! After dinner the boys opened one present and my brother, Chris, and his wife Ashley opened everything from all of us because they were starting their drive to Utah at 4:00am the next morning.

Camden LOVED the paper and bows and climbing on the stacks of presents!

Kyler opened a T-ball set from my parents that night and loved it!
After some T-ball time, it started getting late and my brother and his wife were getting ready to go home to rest up for their long drive! Just as we were cleaning up, Jason sends Kyler out to the front room with this little pink bag that had a HUGE surprise in it for me....YEP...keys to a NEW TAHOE!!! Amongst all the excitement of my screaming and my family being totally surprised too, we forgot to take any pictures that night!
If anyone knew my old Tahoe- it was time for it to retire:) over a 140 thousand miles on it, no heater, and just about 5 months ago, the shocks that hold the back hatch had given out and everytime I put my groceries in, it would slam down on my lower back. I loved it and I brought both my babies home from the hospital in it and it had a ton of memories, but the safety of me and my kids out on the roads driving took precedent over the memories!! I love my new one!!
We managed to get some cookies on a plate for Santa after a long ride in mommies new car looking at christmas lights and singing carols!
That morning, the kids woke up at normal times and we had to wake everyone else up to get to see the boys open Santa stuff!
Kyler got a Thomas Train track from Meme and Papa and was in love!
Santa brought Camden this zoo animals play set.

Meme and grandpa gave Camden this Thomas that talks to you and Camden just sat in amazement!

We had such a great time with my family and celebrating the holidays with them!
