My family was on Spring Break the week of Easter and we didn't really do too much this year. We had originally planned to go out on the boat, but since it was getting some repairs done to it, we had to postpone that trip. So, we were all getting the itch to get out in the sun and decided to head down to Galveston Island which is about an hour and a half away just to feel a little like Spring Breakers:)
For all you Native Texans, you know this is not a California coast or Florida beach at all, but it is as close to sun and sand as we could get. Thanks to Grandpa Scott- since mommy forgot her camera- we were able to capture a few moments of Kyler's first taste of the sand!

His favorite- like a couple months ago when we brought him down here- was feeling the sand and water on his feet!!
Kyler and I took a break from all the fun to do some crazy people watching at Stewart Beach. It was a very crowded day with lots of interesting people to watch- if you know what I mean:)
