Our 5th Annual Canyon Lake Vacation

The boys with Gigi! Camden looked so uncomfortable in his life jacket, but was a trooper about wearing it!
Kyler sporting his NEW life jacket for Grandpa and Meme's boat!

You can tell in the sky from this picture that we had just gone through a rain storm. We were on the boat and I was wake boarding when the weather changed instantly and got gray and a huge rain storm was moving in quick. So we got to the Marina as quick as we could and my dad docked our boat just as the rain came hitting hard with lightning and loud thunders. We rushed for cover as the rain was pouring down and sat by the marina boat shop for a good half hour until everything blew over and we knew it would be safe to go back out on the boat. It was a crazy way to start our first day on the lake, and a waste of nice smooth wake boarding water because after the storm it was choppy and miserable!
Here is Camden all bundled up after the storm because it brought a cool front with it and we were all chilly riding on the boat! Lovely day as I'm sure you can imagine!
Day 2- Much nicer weather and a fun day on the lake!!
Riding with Meme- poor Camden. if only they could make a TRUE infant life jacket that fit them the RIGHT way! This one says 0-30 lbs- yeah right!
What is wrong with this picture??:)
Day 3- getting ready to go back out on the lake one last time!
Swimming with Grandpa!
Daddy throwing Kyler! He loved this and was having so much fun!! However on the video, you see him panic and freaking out only because Jason turned him around so I could see his face on the video and he did not like being thrown in the water that way!! Aren't we such terrible parents:)

Aunt Whitney and my sweet baby boy!

Our last night:( We were outside watching some deer that had come right up to the house!
Everyone has a sunkissed face and sore muscles by the last day! But, we love this place and look forward to the relaxing trip every year!!

I just can't get enough of this little guy! The sweetest little boy ever!
Here's how close we were to the deer just grazing on the corn my grandma had thrown out for them to eat! There were about 7-8 of them just hanging out in our backyard! Kyler was napping which was a good and bad thing: Good- because he would have scared them all away, but Bad because he would have loved to see them up close like that! He is so into animals!
Our drive home!
Kyler refuses picture taking now, so this is what I get! Gotta love him!!
