Another Weekend at Wild Oak Ranch!!!

 We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and have gone every year since Camden was born, which is only 3 years, BUT still we love it! It's a quick getaway to San Antonio and is right across the street from Sea World so it is very convenient for a fun weekend! We went this year November 11th-13th with our good friends, the Hooper's, and had a blast!

The first night, the boys had fun watching movies on the bed with popcorn while the parents hung out!

 The next day we headed to the pools! Thank goodness for indoor, heated pools because it was pretty cold at this time of year! But, that obviously did not stop our boys from having fun!!!

 The boys loved swimming with daddy and just having him all to themselves!

 Camden loved this yellow basketball and swam with it the whole time!

 After a little fun in the pool, we gave the water slide a try!!! Check out the action shots (LOVING my new camera!!!)...

 He loved it of course and wanted to do it over and over again! 

Side Note: Since I am the family photographer I am NEVER in any of the pictures hardly, so needed to document that I took the boys down this slide several times and played with them in the pool too so they know they have a cool mommy:)

 After a fun afternoon at the pools, we came up for the younger kids naps and Kyler and Boston watched a movie and hung out eating their lunch. These boys are such good friends and have so much fun together!

 Later, after naps and lunch the dads were napping so the moms took the boys down to the sand bar and lazy river. This river was NOT heated so the water was freezing. They started out playing in the sand...

 Camden loved collecting the tubes as they came by on the river.

 This boy is always in action and on a mission to do something! His mission.....Fill Water gun!!!

 Kyler found animal prints in the rocks and was curious about what animal made them!

 These boys built sand castles...

 And destroyed them too!!!

 Finally, after carrying all the water around they had soaked their shirts and were freezing...so the shirts came off!!!

 When dirt is around...Camden is to be found! This kid LOVES to be dirty!

 Camden actually had a little accident right after this picture, so I took him upstairs to change his pants and brought the daddy's down with me! But, of course, Camden is right back in the sand getting down and dirty!

 Helping Mr. Kent dig a hole except Camden wanted to fill it with water and jump in it!:)

 Something made Kyler sad and this is what he was doing while Camden helped the others dig a hole. It's always something:)

 After a dirty evening at the sand bar, it was BATHTIME!!!! This was the highlight of the evening! Not only did we make soapy mo-hawks...

 we turned the JETS on and made LOTS and LOTS of BUBBLES!!! These boys were in Heaven!

 Not everything was peachy king in soapy heaven. I don't even know what happened, but I guess call me the terrible mom that captures the sad faces on camera:) Classic Kyler and Camden sad moments! (And yes the soap was TEAR FREE:)

 All was better shortly after and the boys showed off their STRONG MUSCLES for the mommies!

 Later that night we had dinner and then took the boys down for S'mores night! That is always a fun night but you can tell how tired everyone is in these pictures! It was a long day, but relaxing too!

 These two would stay up all night if they could, but...

 Camden on the other hand was pooped out! Such a fun weekend and we can't wait to go back again next year!!! Thanks Hooper's for a super fun weekend!
