Kyler is my little fish and loves the water! 2 years of swim lessons are paying off and mostly his love of the water gets him to challenge himself! He begged me to jump off the diving boards at the pool one day at the beginning of summer and even after the lifeguard told him no life jackets were allowed, he was still determined to do it! He did it...
LOVED IT...
and wanted to do it over and over!!!! Way to go Kyler!
After 2 soccer seasons, Kyler wanted to try something else and really wanted to play basketball. So, we looked into sign ups and got him on a team for the summer. He couldn't wait! He got put on the 4 year old team now since he just turned 4 so that mean't a weekly practice and a game now instead of just games once a week! He's practicing his shooting with his team!

His FIRST game! It was hilarious and the kids had no idea what they were doing! Each game got better and better and just recently at Kyler's last game (August 6th) he finally made his very first shot! He was so proud of himself and couldn't wait to call daddy to tell him...Jason was in Denver for work so had to miss it and was so bummed when he heard Kyler made his first shot!
I was proud of Kyler this year because he came on a team where none of his friends were playing with him so he knew nobody and he still played hard and was excited to play every week and practice with them! I guess that is the teacher in me looking at how is he socially verses daddy's viewpoint on how well can he play:)
