HAPPY 70th BIRTHDAY to my Beautiful Grandmother! Her birthday also fell on thanksgiving day this year so it was a perfect day of thanks, family, food and fun!
We thought we would make this a memorable birthday for our Grandma Phoebe (my mom's mom) so my mom and her brother Scotty had a fun creative idea. We had to all send in 5 words that described our grandma and come prepared to share 5 stories, statements, memories, etc. for that day- with all the people we had it equaled 70 stories and 70 words for the picture! My mom compiled all the words into a picture collage called a "wordall" and all the words formed a heart shape and then my mom had it framed really beautifully. It brought tears and as the stories started to flow there were more tears, laughs, jokes and lots of memories shared and it was really fun to see what memories we all had of our special grandma! It was even more beautiful to hear the stories my mom and her brother shared about their mom and the memories they have together for all their little family has been through! It was a memorable evening!
