So, I am the big sister, which means I do have rights to brag on my little brother!! We are just so proud of him and his success last week!
This picture was taken at one of Colton's last Junior Varsity games. His team is still undefeated after this game and we were lucky to have Grandpa Huntsman come down to see him play! We also got a babysitter for the first time tonight (Thank you Jordan- Kyler just loved you!!) which mean't Jason and I got to watch Colton's game in peace! It was very nice and relaxing! Kyler and football games just don't mix right now- he just doesn't know it yet how much fun he will have one day going to these:) But right now, his attention span is very limited!!

The following week after this game, Colton was moved up to the varsity team. Their quarterback got injured in the game the week before and could not play in the Homecoming game!! So, not only was it Homecoming, where the entire school is at the game, but the coach's so gladly informed Colton the night before this big game at the players rally that if we don't win we don't make it to playoffs!! NO PRESSURE!!
I don't think Colton was the only one who had nerves and butterflies in his stomach- his whole family did!! We were all just praying for him and wishing him well in his first big game on varsity!!
This is hours before the game- the schools do homecoming parades where they get to make floats for diffeent clubs within the school! Colton and his girlfriend Lauren were nominated for Sophmore Homecoming Court Duke and Dutchess so they had a float of their own in the parade with all the other sophmore nominees!!
I thought this picture was too cute of the two of them!!
A clip of the homecoming Parade and Colton's float!
A lot of the floats were throwing candy out to the crowd, so since they knew Kyler was stuck in his stroller and I wasn't picking it up off the floor for him, they were coming and dropping handfuls of candy on his stroller tray!! Okay- my kid is 1- he does not need all that candy! But it was too cute, not only did he get candy brought to him, but balloons and beaded necklaces too!! He had a blast!- even efter that darn pig bit him earlier that morning at the Oil Ranch:)
Sophmore Duke and Dutchess Winners!! Congrats Colton and Lauren!
After the parade, we got Kyler home for a nice long nap before Colton's big game that night!
He played amazingly well and we did beat Cy-Springs 48-14! It was 34-0 at the half and we were so proud! Colton ran the ball in for 3 TD and the defense played awesome as well! So, we are so happy for Colton and his big debut on the varsity team for the first time! The Senior Quarterback will be starting this next game, but Colton remains on varsity as back up!! We are so happy for you Colton! Way to go!!

(The head coach is the one with his 2 twin red head boys that gets interviewed! It is hilarious, they are grabbing at the mike and pouring their skittles on the field, it is too cute to watch!!)
