Back at the beginning of September, we took our first trip to the Zoo! It started out cooler in the morning, but by the afternooon it was really hot. Despite that, Kyler had a blast and actually enjoyed the zoo this year and all the animals to see!!

After a full day of zoo animals, we stopped for a treat- sprinkle ice cream cone!!
They have the train right out front where you enter and leave the zoo. So, of course, Kyler spotted it as we were leaving and was determined to ride it! So, we said goodbye to our friends and just the boys and I rode the train all over the park and the Museum District in downtown Houston! Great ride and worth the money! My car was silent 1 minute after pulling out of the zoo parking lot! :)
