A Night FULL of Tricks and Treats

After our church party, we had my brother's football game at 6:00! We usually get babysitters for the boys, but given the circumstances and the holiday, we had the whole family at the game tonight:) So, I had a bag full of tricks and treats for the boys to keep entertained!
When we got their, Gigi (the boys great grandma) had some halloween books for them to look at to keep them happy! Thanks Gigi!!

I loved this picture of both of them standing here and seeing their backs- Kyler's jersey and Camden's fish tail!!
I brought some candy for Kyler that he got from his trunk or treat and the DVD player for a little movie time when he got restless! At one point during the game, middle of 3rd quarter, after Camden would not take his bottle and Kyler was crawling all over my parents and grandparents, we set up the DVD player in front of Camden on my lap and Kyler was holding my iPhone watching a YouTube Baby Einstein and it was the quietest moment we had had the whole game! Thank goodness for modern day technology:)
After the game, our neighbors down the street were so sweet to save a treat for Kyler and they wanted to see him all dressed up, so we trick or treated to their house!
We went to his friend Carter's house too!! Then that was enough for mommy and we were both freezing and tired and Kyler had WAY TOO much candy for a 2 year old to have! What is it about this non-healthy, sugary substance that entices every child no matter what age! If only his peas and carrots looked just as delicious to him:)
What an eventful and fun Halloween! Happy Halloween Everyone!
