My little brother Colton is off to the United States Air Force Academy on a full ride football scholarship this summer! I can't even write this post without tears in my eyes! We are so excited for him and he is really excited to go!
His High School had a signing day presentation on the actual National Signing Day holiday back in February! About 10 athlete's, boys and girls, were going on full ride athletic scholarships to their college's and it was such a neat presentation! I just can't believe my baby brother is already about to start his next chapter in life! These are not going to be an easy last couple months having him home before he reports because he will be extremely missed!
The presentation was right during Camden's nap time, but he made due on daddy's shoulder!:)

Each athlete needed to bring some cupcakes or cookies for refreshments afterwards...well, I just couldn't let that be a boring box of cookies or store bought cupcakes so I had a little fun with them!

This video is just of what Colton's head football coach had to say about him and the slide show clip of him that was shown after each Coach's remarks for each athlete! He was the last athlete to be spotlighted and you can't tell as well because of the dark, but at the end of his pictures there is a video of a jet taking off and when we saw his slide show that day we were all in tears! It was a perfect analogy to "letting Colton spread his wings and fly...literally"!!! We LOVE you so much Colton and can't wait to see some games up in Colorado!

Congratulations, Colton!!! That is so neat that his school did a presentation like that! We know he'll do amazing things in Colorado and we're proud to be related! Love yall! :)
