It's great having season passes to the Science Museum because you can go whenever you want! We went again with friends a couple weeks ago and this time after exploring the science museum, we decided to check out the Butterfly Museum!
Camden is trying out the Oil Rig drill!
They love watching the swinging time pendulem that tips over the blocks after every minute!
Checking out how the gears work with energy!
The boys favorite button to push at the museum! Watching the ping pong balls float around like gas molecules.
Off to the butterfly museum, this is how they start out...a cute little caterpillar!
The waterfall inside the rainforest green house!
This lady was their to show off a few exhibits of different kinds of butterflies. Boston was the only brave one to hold a butterfly. Kyler takes after his mom too much when it comes to bugs and he is too scared of ALL of them. I could even hold a butterfly:) but he just seems to not like any of them!
Camden, on the other hand, will pick up and touch just about anything! He is petting a leaf bug that is disguised to look like a tree leaf!
The butterfly house had little fruit plates set up everywhere and it always had TONS of butterflies feeding on them. The boys were in awe of the butterlies and how they eat!
The bug exhibit afterwards had lots of gross bugs to look at! I was completely freaked out by most of them=)
You can see Kyler is a bit freaked out too...Camden, right up in on the action of wanting to see what the roaches are doing. This exhibit was disgusting and I had the creepy's after looking at the tons of roaches crawling around inside and feasting on cake mix boxes and cereal boxes. GROSS.
A little bug jeopardy game at the end- hitting the buttons was more like the game for our boys! Can't read just yet:)
