Splash Pad and Train Park

Last weekend we had a lot of fun getting together with friends and taking are kids places. On Friday all the mom's got together at the Splash Pad with the kiddos. Then Saturday, we met up with several friends at Zube Park to ride trains. This company is really neat because they offer these train rides once a month for free, just accepting donations. (www.hals.org) This is there website and I will gladly do some free advertising for them since they let us ride for free! Great place for kids birthday parties too!!!

Kyler, Dean and Collin

Kyler had his tongue hanging out all the time! Just drinking the germ infested, continuously circulated with all kinds of yuke in it- water! Disgusting!!!

There is that tongue again! Kyler can't walk quite yet so he crawled all over the splash pad to get himself around and at the end of all the fun he came out with blisters on his fingers that were bleeding because he crawled himself raw. Do they make gloves for those poor hands that have to do all the crawling when the feet don't work yet??
Train Park- Aren't the trains cute! They only were about 2 feet off the ground!
He just couldn't wait for the train to start:)

The cute Hansen Family with baby Collin!!

We had a picnic at the park after and Kyler decided he wanted my half eaten apple. Well- it was great because for about 30 minutes he sat on our blanket and nibbled at my apple with the only 2 teeth he has. Great way to keep him occupied for a good amount of time:)

What cute pictures! I know what you mean about the splash park--I've caught Micah trying to drink out of the fountains, disgusting. But I love the photo of Kyler with his arms around the rainbow-type poles. And the train photo of the three of you is adorable, too. Gotta love the summertime!

His tongue hanging out reminds me of Kenna. For years we had to remind that girl to keep her tongue in her mouth when swimming. She always looked like a little dog - lapping up that yuck water.

I'll have to check out this train place. Thanks for the idea. We'll have to get together soon.
